Inspired by the sculptural beauty of African neck rings and the evocative world of Karen Blixen’s Out of Africa, each piece is mouth blown, meaning subtle variations and occasional air bubbles are a natural part of its handmade character. The Karen Blixen White series is widely cited as having been produced from 2000 to 2019.Each piece of mouth blown glass is unique and handmade by the glassblower, who carefully blows the right amount of air through the narrow pipe.
