Ponyflo Performance Ponytail Running Hat – Women’s High Ponytail Hats – Baseball Cap

I have only been able to wear ball caps when my hair is straightened, until I found these!I was going on a trip where I would be in the sun for long periods of time. I have a big head, and coarse, curly hair that makes me hot. I wear my hair up all the time. I could never find hats that fit comfortably, ever. Close sometimes, but never comfortable and functional.In my search, first I thought I had to look for giant visors. Functional, not stylish. Big hair and big head and adjustable strap seemed to be the solution, even if I looked a little dorky..I ordered a visor and ended up looking like a Handmaid, Handmaid Ofkyle. or it could have passed for a giant baby bonnet. I returned that with tears of laughter. It would have been a good headpiece for Halloween.No solution yet.. I still needed head coverage. So as funny as the visor was, I was getting worried. And I decided I did not want to look like a dork. I ditched functional for stylish. I ordered some sun hats, too tight. Returned. One made me look like a fly fisher (not really my kind of stylish), and one made me look like I was wearing a very stylish hat for an 8 year old on a giant head of curly hair. I returned those. I searched again. This time I searched “hats for long curly hair and giant head” and VOILA… Up popped up these hats, in my recommendations! I was skeptical, but as I read reviews, I thought I would give it a try. Maybe, just maybe, I could have functional AND stylish in a sporty way?! I never had luck with ball caps before,, but reviewers had some great things to say.When it came in, on it went, I opened the velcro and tightened it under my bun and around my head! IT WAS PERFECT! WHAT?! I had a ball cap that fit! It did not look like a beanie squeezed on. It did not look like a small cap sitting on a mound of hair over a big head. It looked NORMAL, sporty, attractive! I wore it swimming, working out, nearly everywhere! I ordered additional- aqua, then the cotton white, cotton black with satin liner (love). The price is fair and curly hair problems solved for active, hot summer days!I just had to be slow and careful around the velcro so it didn’t snag my hair. BUT the velcro was BETTER than most velcro I have seen. It is not scratchy to the touch, and it BARELY snags, if at all.This is a perfect hat for giant heads with curly hair, and smaller head too, because you can adjust the velcro. Even my daughter wore one of my hats.PLUS, bun and ponytail keep the hat from flying off!Ponyflo is my FAVORITE!I hope to find other “genres” of hats. Fancy sun hat. Elegant church hat. Whimsical Kentucky Derby hat. Warm winter hat. Ponyflo hoodie. Skull cap. Ponyflo beanie for Girl Scouts. Ponyflo religious headpieces. Ponyflo Halloween hats. ?But honestly, this is my favorite purchase this year…
